If you install this kit on an umbrella there will be leftover tee-fittings & nozzles.
•
If you install this kit on a non-umbrella structure all 10 of the tee-fittings and nozzles will be used, but
the 32 umbrella clips and the 20 mounting clips will not be used.
NOTE:
Prior to assembly, determine the best source of water, the best direction for the lead line tubing to run,
and the desired position of the misting nozzles.
ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION ON UMBRELLAS:
This kit can be used on
umbrellas with a 7.5’ diameter to an 11.0’ diameter and with 8’ X 10’ rectangular
umbrellas.
Step 1. MEASURING WHERE TO CUT THE MISTING LINE:
•
For a round umbrella, measure the distance between the ends of the ribs of the umbrella.
•
For a rectangular umbrella, measure the sides of the umbrella.
•
Cut the misting line into lengths matching the measurements that were taken.
•
To ensure a good fit, it is strongly advised to use the hose cutter included in the kit. This will
ensure an even cut and burr-free edges.
•
The remaining length of the misting line is to be used as the lead line.
Step 2: ASSEMBLING THE SYSTEM:
•
Depending on the size of the umbrella, there may be leftover tee-
fittings, nozzles, and 1/4” of misting tube.
•
Connect the tee-fittings to the misting line sections as shown below:

Connect the line to the tee-fitting keeping it level and straight.
•
Push the line while twisting the fitting. The line should enter the fitting at least 0.4-in (10-mm).
• Once you have connected all the cut pieces of misting lines to the tees, connect the elbow fitting and the
end fitting to the ends of the line.
•
Connect the remaining misting line to the elbow fitting and the swivel nut.
•
Do not install the nozzles until you have completed
