11 How to Use Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology enables wireless connections between
electronic devices within a range of up to 10 meters. A Bluetooth
connection can be used to send images, videos, texts, business
cards, calendar notes, or to wirelessly connect to other devices
using Bluetooth technology.
When Bluetooth connections are made, the distance between
phone and Bluetooth device will greatly influence transfer speed
and the quality of talk.
Select
<Main menu> → <Extra> → <Bluetooth> to access the
function.
You can then adapt the function according to your needs.
11.1 Transmitting Documents via Bluetooth
Activate Bluetooth and set the option <My phone’s visibility> as
<Visible to all> .
To look for new devices, choose <Device list> <Search> .
If you have already paired your phone with other Bluetooth de-
vices, a list of the previous search results is displayed.
Select the device with which you want to pair and enter the
password. Depending on the other Bluetooth device, the same
password may be necessary to be entered for this device, too.
11.2 Using a Bluetooth Headset
If you have not already paired the headset with your phone,
please follow the instructions in chapter 11.1 before continuing.
Activate Bluetooth and set the option
