MAINTENANCE

All Irix lens elements are coated with anti-reflective 

compounds,  which  also  increase  their  resistance 

to contamination. 

Periodic  cleaning  should  consist  of  dust  removal 

with  a  bulb-type  air  blower  or  soft  brush*,  follo

-

wed  by  the  use  of  cleaning  products  specifically 

made for coated lenses to remove smudges, oily 

films and fingerprints.

*  High-pressure  air  may  cause  damage  to  lens  surfaces  and 

seals.
