Using the scanner
Step 1: Preparation
Step 2: Charging the battery
You charge the battery by connecting the scanner to a computer.
The battery power is extremely low. Please charge the
battery immediately.
The battery is being charged when scanner power is
off.
The battery is being charged when scanner power is
on.
Peel off the tape that secures the paper guide.
NOTE
: This step is only required when
you use the scanner for the first time.
1. Connect the mini end of the USB cable to
the
Mini USB socket
on the scanner.
2. Turn on the computer, and connect the large
end of the USB cable to the
USB port
of
the computer.
NOTE
: It takes approximately 4
hours to fully charge the scanner’s
battery. See
Indicators
on page 7 to
identify the charging status.
