Your IQAir Cleaner and its Components
Chapter 2 Your IQ Air Cleaner and Its Components .
The base with its arched design, features air intake openings on two sides.
The pre-filter module consists of frame 1 and the pre-filter element, which is fixed inside the
frame by eight filter clamps (see Illustration 2.2).
The fan assembly comprises two housing modules with the centrifugal fan inside.
The gas & odor filter module consists of frame 2 and the gas & odor filter element.
2.1 Description of Housing Components
Your IQAir cleaner features a modular tower design in which all important filtration and air
moving components are positioned vertically in-line, i.e. after one another. Air is drawn into the
unit at the base, and passes through several filter stages to be returned to the room via the
diffuser on top of the unit.The housing modules are held together by two locking arms.
