After 50 shots in quick succession there is an
automatic cooling delay of about a minute where
the system will not respond—this is absolutely
normal and nothing to worry about. This cooling
delay is indicated by the ‘READY’ light flashing.
When it glows constantly the unit is ready to
use again.

After 200 shots within a 30 minute period there
will be a 5 minute automatic cooling delay where

3. Getting ready for a treatment

The Boots Smooth Skin system consists of three
parts; the power supply, the base unit and the
handset. Each time you use the Boots Smooth
Skin system, inspect all parts of the system
for damage. If damage is found it should not
be used.

Set up the Boots Smooth Skin
system

Place the base unit on a firm, flat surface.

The handset should be plugged into the base
unit taking care not to damage the retaining
clips and to fit the plug the correct way round.
