CHAPTER 4: MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY
1.
Maintenance
Only persons authorised by IPO Technologie are approved to open, repair or modify the product
(except for easy-maintenance hard disks).
Remember to unplug the device before performing any maintenance operations.
The use of corrosive products on the device is prohibited.
If the device has a fan, we recommend having this replaced every 3 years by returning the device to
the workshop.
Time scales are given as a recommendation and may be shorter depending on the operating
environment.
2.
Standard warranty
The standard warranty is 60 months from the delivery date, apart from SSD storage (24 months).
It covers parts and labour only. The user pays for the ‘’outgoing‘’ transport of the product
while
IPO
Technologie
covers the "return" transport costs (mainland France only). The warranty does not cover
any direct or indirect consequences of wear and tear.
The user is responsible for taking all necessary active or passive measures to ensure the safety of
property and people relating to the use and handling of the equipment. The possibility of the machine
developing a fault or partially or completely stopping working must be taken into account when
defining the safety systems and procedures to implement.
Should the equipment break down,
IPO Technologie
reserves the right to refuse to maintain the
machine if it is not returned in its original packaging with all its accessories to
IPO Technologie
for
repair.

Conditions for repair are defined by the warranty clauses.
