Part 4. Troubleshooting:
The device does not work, no light:
Check the mains connection and the main fuse.
No response to the DMX controller:
Check the DMX connectors and cables for correct connection. Check the address settings and the DMX polarity.
Check whether the DMX cables are near or next to high voltage cables. Try another DMX controller.
If the instructions given here do not lead to success, please contact your specialist dealer.
NOTE!
Possible data transmission malfunctions
To ensure trouble-free operation, use special DMX cables and not normal microphone cables.
Never connect the DMX output to audio devices such as mixers or amplifiers.
Part 5. Maintenance:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before maintenance work, disconnect the device from the mains!
The screws used must be tightened firmly and must not show any traces of rust. The housing, the mounting
bracket and the mounting location (e.g., ceiling or traverse) must not be adapted, i.e. do not drill any additional
holes in the mounting bracket, do not change the connections, etc.
Regularly clean the externally accessible optical lenses to optimize the light output. The frequency of cleaning
depends on the operating environment: damp, smoky or particularly dirty environments can cause more dirt to
accumulate on the optics of the device.
Use a damp, lint-free cloth for cleaning. Under no circumstances use alcohol or any solvents for cleaning!
Maintenance and service work is reserved exclusively for authorized specialist personnel!
