Wireless Headphones
The
G9
&
G10
include a built-in dual channel
infrared transmitter for use with wireless
headphones. The volume can then be adjusted
with the control on each headset. The wireless
headphone must be used within a line of sight
from the transmitter as infrared transmission,
like visible light travels only in a straight line.
Wired Headphones
There are two 1/8" headphone jacks on the
G9
&
G10
that can be used with any standard
stereo headphones. Remove and save the
protective plastic cover to access the jacks.
Remember to restore the cover when the jacks
are not in use.
Wired FM Modulator
Your video system may be equipped with an
RF modulator, which allows you to listen to the
G9
&
G10
audio signal by tuning your vehicle's
radio to the selected frequency, (88.3, 88.7,
89.1, 89.5, 89.9, and 90.3 - check with your
installer) and turning on the remote.
Whenever the FM modulator is on, broadcast
radio reception will be poor. Using the remote
to switch SOUND AROUND off, will allow
normal radio reception.
AV & AUX
The additional audio/video inputs may be
used to connect additional items such as a
DVD player, video game system, or other
audio/video devices. To play the second AV
source, turn the
G9
or
G10
on and press the
SOURCE button on the remote control until
"AV1 or AUX" is displayed on the screen. Turn
the source component on with its power
button or remote control. The
G9
or
G10
is now
ready to play the audio and video signals from
the source connected to AV1 or AUX input.
