Welcome to Volksbox Web Edition. This Quick Start Guide explains what web-based services and applications
that are available over the Volksbox web portal and how to browse the web.
Web access
You can access the web portal over the internet wirelessly or over wired LAN. Navigate to the “web” category
on the Main Menu, to access online video and music services and internet-based applications through the
Volksbox web portal or browse the internet with the built in web browser.
The Web porTal
The Volksbox’s web portal hosts a wide range of cool applications allowing access to online content and
services available over the internet. The portal is being updated continuously with new applications and product
information so you can lean back and enjoy and endless choice of content on your TV.
Use the Left, Right, Up and Down arrow keys to browse through video and music services, games and online
applications. The libraries are listed on the left side of the screen and the logos of the available services on the
right. Press the yellow button on the remote control to display more information about a service. Press the Back
button on the remote control to go back to the previous page or the Exit button to leave the web portal back to
live TV.
Video, Music, NeWs aNd sporTs
The Video and Music libraries contain direct access to the most popular web video and music services such as
YouTube, YAVIDO, AUPEO! as well as to the video libraries of leading broadcasters and online content providers
including ARD, ZDF, rbb, ARTE, Kicker, Spox and many more. The user interface is tailored and optimized for
flat TV screens. Enter the Web Radio page in the music library to access hundreds of radio stations and listen to
your favorite ones online.

YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view videos
YAVIDO
YAVIDO is a music television station presenting around-the-clock music and music-related
content. The program offers a wide range of music, and maps all relevant developments
and trends in the genres of Pop, Black, Rock and Dance.
