TIPS
• A high ambient temperature will have a negative effect on the energy consumption. Direct sunlight and other heat
sources near the larder also have a negative effect.
• Keep ventilation holes free. Covered and dirty holes cause a high energy consumption. Ensure sufficient space around
the larder, so that a proper ventilation and air flow around the larder is possible.
• Do not open the door of the larder more often than necessary and leave the door open as short as possible.
• The distance between the shelves and the rear wall ensures a free air circulation. Do not place food against the rear wall.
• Set the thermostat to a lower setting if circumstances allow.
• Allow cooked food that you want to store in the larder to cool down to room temperature before placing it in the larder.
• Frost or ice will increase power consumption. Therefore, these should be removed regularly once they are 3 to 5 mm
thick.
• A door rubber that does not close properly could increase the power consumption. Therefore, have it replaced by a
skilled person in time.
• The condenser at the rear of the larder must always be kept clean and free from dust.
• If the instructions are not observed, this could lead to a higher power consumption.
• If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time (e.g. during holidays), switch the thermostat to setting ● .
Defrost and clean the larder. Leave the doors slightly open to prevent moulds and smells.
REPLACING THE LED LAMP
This appliance has been provided with a LED lamp. This lamp lasts for a longer period of time. When the LED lamp in the
appliance is broken, you are not able to replace it yourself. Contact the Inventum service department.
Warning Never remove ice with sharp objects, defrosting sprays, a hair dryer, a heater or something similar. This could lead
to unsafe situations and cause irreparable damage to the appliance.
If your larder does not work properly, this can be caused by a minor problem. First check the following items before
contacting an electrician. This will save you time and money.

Temperature in the larder is too
high or too low
Incorrect temperature setting Set the correct temperature.

Defrost water drain is blocked Open the defrost water drain by pricking
through it with a wooden skewer.
Appliance makes noise Is the appliance properly installed? Check the installation - is the larder level?
Does the rear of the larder make
contact with something?
Check this and move the larder forward
Lighting does not burn Lamp is defective Contact customer service.
The ALARM indicator light lights
up.
The plug is inserted in the socket
for the first time or there has been
a power interruption of at least one
hour.
Check that the door of the appliance is
properly closed and check that the appli-
ance has been on for more than one hour.
If this is not the case, contact customer
service.
A component is defective or there is
a breakdown in the cooling process.
Contact customer service.
Note: gurgling and hissing noises due to expansion in the refrigerant circuit are normal.
