If the scale is not being used for weighing, the display will
show the actual time.
as soon as you place the batterie the notification for the
hours will blink 12:00
pm
. press the
“UP”
or
“DOWN”
button at the bottom of the scale to adjust the hours.
the clock starts with a 12hour clock (am and pm). press
up or down until the am/pm indication disappears and
changes to a 24hour setting. press the
TARE
key to
adjust the minutes accordingly. to confirm the time,
press
TARE
again. the colon between the hour and
the minutes will now blink. this shows that the clock is
set correctly.
to adjust the time again press the
UNIT
key for a few
seconds and the notification for the hours will blink. Set
the time as described above.
put the appliance on a flat and stable surface. this
kitchen scale has sensor touch control. the keys are
activated by the touch of a finger.
Switch the scale on by touching the
TARE
key. Wait
about 2 seconds untill «
0 g»
appears on the display. the
kitchen scale is now ready for weighing.
place the item to be weighted directly on the scale. the
weight there of is displayed immediately.
If the kitchenscale is left unused for longer than approx.
60 seconds, it automatically switches itself off and will
show the clock in the display. you can also turn the scale
off manually by touching the
TARE
key for about 2
seconds.
to select a different measurement unit press the
UNIT
key to change it accordingly to:
• g = grams
• lb = pounds
• oz = ounces
• kg = kilograms
the scale can accept a maximum load of 5000 grams or
5000 milliliters. the weight measurement is displayed in 1
g divisions. and the scale has a ‘tara’ adding function.
remove the overweight when
«EEEE»
appears in the
display.
note:
the total weight placed on the scale can
not be more than 5 kg (5000 grams).
With the adding function you can reset the display to
«
0 g»
after placing a product. this allows you to weigh in
a bowl. do as follows:
1. place an empty bowl on the scale.
2. press the scale on with the
TARE
key and
wait till «
0 g»
appears on the display.
3. place the first product you wish to weigh in the bowl.
4. read the weight shown on the display.
5. after weighing, press the
TARE
key to
reset the scale to «
0 g»
and you can add the next
ingredient.
By repeating step 3, 4 and 5 you can weigh multiple
ingredients (e.g. baking ingredients).
note:
«EEEE»
appears in the display if more than 5 kg in
total is placed on the scale.
When the
symbol appears in the display, the
batteries needs to be replaced. Open the batterie
compartment at the bottom of the scale. If necessary
please use a small screwdriver to remove the batterie.
make sure the batterie is placed correct (= and polarity)
and close the lid.
note:
Spent batteries and rechargeable batteries do not
constitute normal household waste! they are considered
to be toxic waste and, as such, should be disposed of
in special containers, toxic waste collection points or
brought to electrical goods dealers.
remark:
Batteries containing pollutant substances are
marked as follows: pb = Battery contains lead, cd =
Battery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury.
Wipe the kitchenscale only with a damp cloth.
never immerse the scale in water or any other liquids.
Handle the scale with care, protect the scale from impact
with hard object and do not drop it.
