14. Peel or puncture foods with hard peel such as potatoes,
chestnuts, whole courgette, apples etc. before cooking or
warming up.
15. Eggs should not be heated or cooked in microwave ovens
since they may explode, even after microwave heating has
ended.
16. Do not operate the oven while it is empty. If it is empty or
with little or dry food it can cause fire or spark.
17. Do not cook bacon directly on the tray. Excessive local heat
can break the tray.
18. Do not try to preserve food using this device because it is
impossible to know if all the materials have reached the
boiling point.
19. Pay special attention on warming up food for newborns.
Remove the lid from the jars and the bottle lid during warm-
up. Before feeding the baby, mix the contents very well to
achieve a homogeneous temperature.
20. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when
the appliance is operating. The surfaces are liable to get hot
during use. Keep the cord away from heated surface, and do
not cover any vents on the oven.
21. To avoid explosive boiling of liquids and possible burning of
your hands, mix the liquid into the container before placing it
in the oven. Repeat during heating and again shortly before
removing the container from the microwave.
22. Do not try to fry in fat.
23. Cookware may be heated due to the temperature that may
be transferred from hot food. For this reason, use a towel to
remove the cookware from the microwave.
