Filters Maintenance & Cleaning
• The filter should be cleaned twice a year, or when visible dirt
has accumulated on the filter.
• The filter must be placed properly prior to operating the
vacuum cleaner.
• The filter should never be cleaned in a washing machine or
dried by the use of an air blower.
• If the filter is used when wet or damp, the suction power will
be reduced and possible damage to the unit may occur.
• Steps for maintenance:
1) Press on the oultet lock to open (Fig. 12).
2) Remove the filter by pushing down the protrusion on the
top of the filter (Fig. 13).
3) For the dust tank filter, once the tank is removed, grasp the
protrusions of the filter and pull out to remove the cover and
the HEPA filter (Fig. 14).
4) Remove the HEPA cover (fig.15).
5) Remove any accumulated hair and/or dirt (fig. 16).
6) Rinse the filter (fig.17)
7) Rinse the HEPA cover, the HEPA assempbly parts, the
outlet sponge and the dust collector without the use of any
detergents and be certain to dry all parts before use.
8) Re-assemble the HEPA filter , be certain the filter is in
allignment with the cover
9) Place the HEPA filter in such a manner making sure that the
arrow on the cover is pointing up.
10) Attach the tank lid following the steps in the “Cleaning the
Dust Collector” section.
11) Slightly tap on the filter.
12) Place the dust collection assembly into the unit.be certain
the assembly is in the upright position, then press the handle
of the dust collector until you hear a clicking sound.
