2. Align the telescopic tube at an angle of 1
-2° to the outside wall Use
polystyrene or wood wedges for securing.
Note - GS62 with protective hood:
Ensure that the two elements for securing the protective
hood (4) to the outer wall protrude no more than 2mm.
GS62 with GS62-Corner:
Ensure that the telescopic tube protrudes 10-15mm on the outside
wall. This ensures that the flat duct can be fitted correctly. Before inserting the telescopic tube,
turn the two brass sleeves upwards and affix the all-round sealing tape (included) at a distance
of 8mm from the outer edge of the telescopic tube (see Figure 11: no.
)
3. Use 2-component foam to fully foam the free area between the masonry and
telescopic tube (2).
4. Cut the installation foam inside and outside flush to the wall.
5. GS62 with GS62-Corner: Stick sealing tape all around the projection of the telescopic tube.
Caution
- The GS62 is not suitable for drying out buildings. Do not use the GS62 whilst con-
struction work is being carried out in the building. Close the telescopic tube to protect the fan.
This safeguards reliable functioning of the GS62 following completion of building work.
