Traverse Robin Mover™along the track
1.
Perform one of the following:

Hoist is loaded: Press button LEFT
C
or RIGHT
D
on the
hand control to traverse the ceiling hoist along the track.
•
Hoist is not loaded: Use the two lifting straps to pull the
hoist along the track.
DO NOT use the red emergency strap to traverse the
ceiling hoist.
It is not possible to activate both traversing and lifting/lowering
function simultaneously. When the traversing function is activated,
the blue indicator light on the bottom of the hoist is off. See 5.3
Indicator light and audio signal, page 14.

Charging the Battery
If the charge status becomes low, an audible indicator sounds and the
indicator lamp on the bottom of the ceiling hoist flashes (see also 5.3
Indicator light and audio signal, page 14). When this happens, there is
usually sufficient power to lower the patient.
It is not possible to use the hoist while the battery is charging.

Finish the current lift in progress
If the current lift in process discharges the battery completely, an
external backup battery may be used to temporarily power the
lift. See 5.5 Using the external back-up battery, page 15.

Move the ceiling hoist to the charging station.
3.
Place the hand control into the charging station.
A yellow indicator lamp on the charger indicates the hand control
is connected. The indicator lamp illuminates red while charging.
