NOTE: Stabilizer assembly exploded away for clarity. It is
not necessary to remove the stabilizer assembly from
the wheelchair frame.

1. Remove the mounting screw, washers, and locknut
that secure the stabilizer wheel to the fork.
2. Remove the existing stabilizer wheel.
3. Secure the new stabilizer wheel to the fork with exist-
ing mounting screw, washer and locknut. Torque to
120-in/lbs.
4. Loosen the locknut 1/8 of a turn by turning the locknut
COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
5. Move the caster side to side.
NOTE: If the caster moves side to side, tighten the lock-
nut slightly. Repeat STEP 3 until there is no side to side
movement.
6. Repeat STEP 1 for other caster and fork.
REPLACING CLUTCH HANDLES
(FIGURE 5)
1. Remove the front, rear and side shrouds. Refer to RE-
MOVING/INSTALLING SHROUDS in PROCEDURE
10 of this manual.
2. Remove the battery boxes. Refer to INSTALLING/RE-
MOVING BATTERY BOXES in PROCEDURE 11 of
this manual.
3. Remove the seat. Refer to one (1) of the following:
A. REMOVING/INSTALLING THE STANDARD SEAT
FRAME in PROCEDURE 6 of this manual.
B. REMOVING/INSTALLING THE CAPTAIN’S VAN
SEAT in PROCEDURE 6 of this manual.
C. REMOVING/INSTALLING THE RECLINER SEAT
FRAME in PROCEDURE 13 of this manual.
4. Remove the pin that secures the clutch handle to the
existing motor/gearbox.
5. Disconnect clutch handle from existing motor/gearbox.
6. Repeat STEPS 4-5 for other clutch handle.
