Packing the System
ALWAYS
ensure
the
water
reservoir
and
tubing
are
empty
and
dry
prior
to
packing.
NOTE:
When
traveling,
the
Polaris
EX
carrying
case
is
for
carry
‐
on
luggage
only.
The
carrying
case
will
not
protect
the
unit
if
it
is
put
through
checked
baggage.
Security Stations
For
ease
at
security
stations,
there
is
a
note
on
the
bottom
of
the
heated
humidifier
stating
that
it
is
medical
equipment.
It
may
be
helpful
to
bring
this
manual
along
with
you
for
security
personnel.
Service
DANGER
NEVER disassemble the heated humidifier. Disassembling
the heated humidifier creates the risk of electric shock.
Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
The
humidifier
does
not
require
routine
servicing.
If
the
humidifier
malfunctions,
only
the
heating
of
the
water
will
be
disabled.
The
CPAP
will
continue
to
operate
normally.
If
the
humidifier
malfunctions
or
if
error
codes
are
displayed
on
the
CPAP
display,
contact
your
home
health
care
provider
as
soon
as
possible.
