8.6 Transporting the Mobility Device Without
Occupant
CAUTION!
Risk of injury
-If you are unable to fasten your mobility device
securely in a transport vehicle, Invacare
recommends that you do not transport it.
Your mobility device may be transported without restrictions,
whether by road, rail or by air. Individual transport companies
have, however, guidelines which can possibly restrict or forbid
certain transport procedures. Please ask the transport company
regarding each individual case.

Before transporting your mobility device, make sure the
motors are engaged and that the remote is switched off.
Invacare strongly recommends that you disconnect or
remove the batteries.

Invacare strongly recommends securing the mobility
device to the floor of the transporting vehicle.
