To install the batteries, the following tools are required:
Safety gear for personal protection
Precision screwdriver
Insulated gloves
Safety goggles
Safety boots
Inclinometer
Pencil or Marker
Drill
M8 & M10 Torque wrench
NOTE
This product is heavy and challenging to lift. Lift handles are recommended.
Make sure that the inverter AC and DC connections are turned off before connecting the power cable to the battery bank.
Make sure that the power switch of the inverter and the battery are turned off before connecting the power cable to the battery.
NOTE
USE PROPER BRACKETS, SUPPORTS AND/OR STRAPS TO HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE BATTERY. A WELL
VENTILATED, HEAVY DUTY BATTERY CABINET IS RECOMMENDED
The torque rating range for the DC terminals is 9NM-12NM, and the suggested torque is
9NM. Over torqueing may cause the bolt to break
t is suggested that the batteries are kept as close as possible to the inverter or DC load. The following is a suggested wiring option for 1meter
DC cable. Please find the following minimum wire size, in case of having DC cables longer than 1m, please increase the cross section of the
cable to reduce the losses.
Performance of any product can be improved by thicker and shorter cables, so if in doubt, round up and keep the length as short as possible.
