25 Troubleshooting guide

Is your earmould or dome inserted correctly?
Put it in again.
Is the volume very loud?
Reduce it.
Is the plastic tube or the earmould clogged or broken?
Replace or visit your hearing care professional.
Are you holding an object (e.g. a hat, a telephone receiver) close to a
hearing aid?
Move your hand away to create more space between the hearing aid and the object.
Is your ear full of wax?
Visit your physician.
No sound
Is the hearing aid turned on?
Switch it on.
Is the hearing aid in telecoil mode?
Switch to the microphone program.
Is there a battery in the hearing aid?
Insert a new battery.
Is the battery still good?
Replace with a new one.
Is the plastic tube or the earmould clogged or broken?
Visit your hearing care practitioner.
Is your ear full of wax?
Visit your physician.
