(10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps), and automatically 

distinguish the speed of the incoming connection.

switch, become familiar with its display indicators and ports. 

Front panel illustrations in this section show the unit LED 

indicators. Read this section carefully before connecting any 

network device to the gigabit Ethernet switch.
