MegaRAID Controller Assignments
If you install additional RAID controllers in an InterServe 615, 625, 635, or 645 system, be aware that
the RAID controller scan order is not as described in the InterRAID documentation. The MegaRAID
BIOS Configuration utility and the MegaRAID Power Console program detect the presence of
MegaRAID controllers and assign the controller numbers in dissimilar ways. The assignments also
vary depending on the system’s boot device.
MegaRAID Controller is in PCI Slot 1
