Move the centered foot rest into the desired angle�
Hold the centered foot rest in the desired angle with one hand and secure it
in place by tightening the corresponding clamp lever with the other hand�
Deactivate the parking brake, as appropriate

Disengage the clamping lever

ate length of lower leg� To adjust
the depth (thigh length) undo the
screw connection (Fig�

seat adapter� Tighten all the screws
again when adjustment has been
completed�
Knee lever brake (air brake)
Sometimes it is necessary for a
wheelchair to have an additional
brake system to deal with any
difficulties arising from dimin-
ished braking capacity, e�g� due to
conditions on the ground (sloped
surfaces) or in the case of self-
propelled wheelchairs� Knee le-
ver brakes are used in addition to
parking brakes� These are factory-
mounted and adjusted with your or-
der� Adjustment of the knee lever brake should be checked frequently because
of the different basic setting compared to the factory setting (e�g� tire pressure)!
