2. Cable connection

   a) Connect the included Ethernet cable to the  

     back of the Gigabit SATA NAS.

     Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable 

     to a LAN switch or Router on your network. 

     Ideally, a DHCP server is installed  

     installed on your network which provides an  

     IP Address to the Gigabit SATA NAS. 

 

 

 

   b) Connect the power adapter to the power 

     outlet or a power strip. Connect the other 

     end to the DC input connector 

     on the backside of the SATA 

     NAS. 

 

 

   e) Power on the Gigabit SATA NAS by pressing the blue power  

     button. 

3. Configuration

   The Gigabit SATA NAS device is a network device designed to 

   obtain IP information from a DHCP server in your network. In most  

   cases this would be your Router.  

 

   The NAS supports UPnP and  

   will announce its presence to  

   UPnP enabled devices; e.g.,  

   your Windows computer. 

   Double-click the ‘UPnP NAS  

   Device’ icon to open up the  

   configuration page.
