4. To run the adapter at a higher speed, select “Optimize for performance” 

 

  to enable the Tx Burst mode. Otherwise, “Optimize for WiFi” sets the

 

  adapter to run with a standard wireless network. Click “Next.”

5. Once the software 

 

  installation begins,  

  a Setup Status  

  screen is followed 

 

  by a prompt to  

  connect the Wireless  

  G USB Adapter to 

  your computer. The  

  system automatically  

  detects the adapter.  

 

NOTE:

  appears (as shown) when the adapter is connected. You can ignore

 

  the message, as it will disappear once installation is complete.
