Easy Connect - Installation Guide

Intelliconn CAM-F-1033 Camera

Introduction

Congratulations!  You just purchased one of the finest IP network cameras
currently available. All Sharx cameras (model SCN3924) have MicroSD memory
card support, and support full high-definition resolution.

Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution

Video with audio on PC, Mac, iPhone/iPad

Wired/PoE or Wireless b/g/n networking

MicroSD and NAS recording

Read and understand these instructions before starting an installation

Installation may involve the use of ladders, working at heights, power tools, and unpredictable outdoor
environmental conditions.

Take appropriate safety precautions when working under these conditions.  These may include, but are not
limited to, ladder placement location, using lanyards on tools, and verifying location of utility lines in building
walls.

Wear appropriate safety equipment.  This may include, but is not limited to, weather-related apparel, safety
glasses, and gloves.

Service Disclaimer: Some products may require additional services or equipment from your Internet Service

Provider to enable remote device access. Intelliconn does not sell the equipment for, or support this

requirement. Please contact your Internet service provider.

TOOLS

1.

Power drill and driver (can be used to attach the mount to a wall or post)
Hex key wrench (included

used to tighten and loosen the mount)

Setup of the camera is mostly automatic if you have a current, industry standard router with the “Universal Plug
and Play” feature (UPnP). Examples are NetGear R6100 or Asus RT

-N56U. Older routers and some models

provided by internet service providers may require a few manual setup steps to enable remote viewing. Recent
versions of Apple Airport routers are fully supported by Sharx Security with our detailed, step by step setup
instructions.

It is important to note that you do not need an expensive router. Even current $40 - $80 units from NetGear,
LinkSys, D-Link or Asus are perfectly fine. In fact, the most expensive routers that have too many nonstandard
enhancements can often be less desirable than the reliable mainstream 802.11 b/g/n models.
