8. Lift the midplane board over the retention pins (see letter “B” in Figure 97 ) and out
of the server system.

Installing the Midplane Board
To install the midplane board, follow these steps:
1. Position the midplane board over the retention pins (see letter “A” in Figure 98 ).
2. Align the four holes on the midplane with the four standoffs on the chassis and
press down uniformly until it clicks into place (see letter “B” in Figure 98 ).
