2.5.7.1
Configuring Internet Information Services 5.0 for Microsoft Windows
2000 Server
The Remote Storage Console feature of this product requires the existence of a web server service
on the remotely managed system and a supported web browser on the managing client. Internet
Information Services 5.0 is provided with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server. This procedure
assumes that Internet Information Services 5.0 is installed on the server. If it is not, refer to your
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server documentation for instructions on installing the appropriate
software. It is also assumed that the “Remote Storage Console” option was selected during RAID
Software Suite installation. If not, refer to
Section 2.5, “GSU31 Setup and Installation” on
Configuring Internet Information Services 5.0
1. Start the Internet Information Services management console. This can be accessed through
Control Panel, Administrative Tools and selecting the Computer Management icon. The
Internet Information Services console is located under the Services and Application branch.

2. Expand the Default Web Site branch. Locate the Scripts directory. The file iop.exe should
appear in the right window pane.
3. Right-Click on the Scripts directory and select Properties.
4. The Scripts Properties forms will appear. Select the Directory Security tab. Then select the
Edit button under the Anonymous access and Authentication Control menu.
