Problem 

Likely Cause 

Remedy 

Machine is on, yet no material 
comes out of hose. 

Slide gate is closed. 

Open slide gate. 

Insulation blockage in hose. 

Turn system off, remove hose 
and clear blockage. 

Blower is off. 

Turn blower on. 

Air pocket in hopper is 
preventing insulation from 
feeding into agitators. 

Disconnect electrical power.  
Redistribute insulation material 
inside hopper.   

Airlock seal is worn. 

Inspect airlock seals for cuts and 
wear.  Have a qualified 
technician replace airlock seals. 

Airlock has an obstruction 
preventing insulation from 
exiting. 

Disconnect electrical power, 
remove obstruction. 

Variable Speed is ‘on’ and 
Variable Speed Setting is below 
100%, yet still a lot of air flow. 

Auxiliary blower is on. 

Place the Auxiliary Blower Circuit 
Breaker in the ‘off’ position. 

Variable Speed Setting needs to 
be decreased. 

Reduce Variable Speed Setting 
closer towards zero.
