System State and Configuration
7.5.1
System State
System settings can be changed when the system is unlocked.
System States:
Unlocked:
Lock open, all menus on display, system settings can be modified.
Locked:
Lock closed, restricted menu display, opening and emergency functions
available (opening may be blocked), system settings cannot be
modified.
In order to unlock the system,
-
open lock 1 (with option ‘Forced sequence’ off [FS off]) or
-
open all locks (with option ‘Forced sequence’ on [FS on]).
With option
‘Forced sequence’ activated, users cannot select which lock of a system with
2 or 3 locks they open or close.
7.5.2
Configuration via PC Software (Optional)
Not evaluated by UL. The system works without being supported by PC software
QPadComm / TwinComm. With the software additional options are available.
The optional software makes the configuration easier. With it, the protocol can be read
and various time programs can be set. The authorisation for users can be adapted
flexibly, too.
The system manager enters the data required for configuration via the graphical user
interface of software.
7.5.3
Configuration with QPadComm
Not evaluated by UL. PC software QPadComm for systems with QPad:
Data exchange with system EloStar Master is achieved via service function
Import / Export
at the operating unit and via USB or Bluetooth:
If you use USB, make sure the USB stick is connected before the connection is to be
established. If you use Bluetooth, make sure the connected operating system is
compatible to Bluetooth 2.1 or higher. In order to end any connection properly, always
select
‘Close’ of the “Interface” menu of QPadComm.

Configuration via TwinComm
PC software TwinComm for systems with FlatControl:
