This product requires 2 x 1,5V-AAA-LR03-AM4 batteries.
2. To insert or change batteries, use a suitable screwdriver
to undo and remove the battery cover located under the
unit.

Insert 2 x 1,5V-AAA-LR03-AM4 batteries into the
compartment, ensuring they are installed the correct
way.

The polarities are marked inside the battery
compartment.
5. Should the batteries have no polarity markings, the flat
end of the battery should always be inserted against the
spring.
6. Reassemble the battery cover and tighten the screw to
secure.
7.
Do not overtighten the screw.
Please note the important points below when using batteries
to power this product:
•
Batteries should be inserted and removed by an adult.
•
Only use the type of batteries specified in this user manual, or an equivalent type. We
recommend the use of alkaline batteries.
•
Follow the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment and the polarity markings
on the batteries.
•
Inserting the batteries improperly may damage the toy, cause battery leakage or, to an
extreme degree, lead to battery explosion.
•
Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries, as they may leak or explode.
•
Replace all batteries at the same time.
•
Do not mix new with old batteries.
•
Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline and zinc carbon).
•
Remove the batteries during long periods of non use. Always remove exhausted batteries
from the product. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage the product.
•
Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. Store batteries away from metal objects.
•
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, as they may leak or explode. Never disassemble
batteries.
•
Rechargeable batteries should not be used.
•
If, against advice, rechargeable batteries are used anyway:
- Rechargeable batteries shall be charged only under the supervision of an adult.
- Rechargeable batteries shall be removed from the toy before being charged
(if they can be removed).
•
If a battery is swallowed, consult a doctor or medical facility. Don’t forget to take the
product with you.
•
If battery leakage occurs, and the leaked substance comes in contact with the skin or
eyes, wash the affected area immediately with lots of water.
•
Batteries are included for demonstration purposes only and may need replacing after
purchase.
•
Strong electromagnetic interference may disturb the normal function of the product. If so,
simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual.
In case the function does not resume, please use the product in another location.
HOW TO PLAYT
Press on the dinosaur key on the front of the book to hear terrifying dinosaur sounds!
Open the book to start playing a game. Turn the pages in the book to see different dinosaurs!
There are six fun games to choose from. Move the game selector at any time to choose a
different game.
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
Close the book to switch the unit off.
In order to save the battery life, the unit will switch off when it is left idle for about two minutes.
To reactivate the unit, just press any key, open the book, turn the pages or move the game
selector to a new game.
By pressing a key or opening a page, you will go back into the selected game.
By moving the game selector, you will enter directly into the selected game.
Game 1: Dinosaur names
During this game, press on any key to learn the dinosaur’s name and
its
meaning.
Game 5: Quiz
During this game, you will be asked to identify different dinosaurs by their
characteristics.
For example, “Which dinosaur was a horned dinosaur?”
You have three chances to press the correct answer key before a different
question is asked.
Game 3: Feeding habits
During this game, press on any key to learn the feeding habits of each
dinosaur.
Game 2: Key characteristics
During this game, press on any key to learn some main chracteristics of
each dinosaur.
Game 4: Find the dinosaur
During this game, you will be asked to identify different dinosaurs by
name. For example, “Find the
Stegosaurus.
”
You have three chances to press the correct answer key before a different
question is asked.
Game 6: Dinosaur sounds
During this game, press on any key to hear realistic and terrifying dinosaur
sounds.
