Using your electric kettle

Place the base on a flat, heat resistant surface, as close as possible to a
power outlet.

Remove the kettle from the base and open the lid by pressing the
open button.

Fill with the desired amount of water.

Close the lid. Position the kettle on the base, making sure that the
kettle contacts the base completely.

Connect the plug to a power outlet and press the power switch down
to turn on the kettle. The light turns on and the water begins to heat.
After the water has boiled, the kettle turns off automatically and the
light turns off.
You can shut off the power at any time by turning off the power
switch.

Lift the kettle from the base, then pour the water.

The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is turned on. Allow the kettle
to cool for 15~20 seconds before trying to reheat the water.
Note
Using your electric kettle for the first time
Clean your electric kettle before using it by boiling two full
kettles of water, then discarding the water.
Notes
• Always fill the kettle between the minimum (0.5L) and
maximum (1.5L) marks. Too little water results in the kettle
turning off before the water has boiled.
• Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may
spill out of the spout when boiling. Make sure that the lid is
firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the
outlet.
• Never fill the kettle with any liquid other than water.
Note
Make sure that the power switch is clear of obstructions and the
lid is firmly closed. The kettle will not turn off if the power switch
is constrained or if the lid is left open.
Caution
• Use caution when pouring the water from your kettle.
Contacting boiling water may result in a serious burn.
• Do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
