Use the keyboard

Use the detachable keyboard

To attach your tablet, align the bottom with the guides on the keyboard.

Use the USB ports on the right and left sides of the keyboard to connect a
flash drive, mouse, or other devices.

Note

You cannot run high-power devices (such as a DVD drive) with the
USB port.

You cannot charge your tablet through the USB port.

Press

+ (F12) to turn the keyboard's touchpad on or off. The touchpad

LED turns off when the touchpad is active.

To remove your tablet, hold the keyboard in place, and then lift the tablet
straight up.

Use the on-screen keyboard

To open the keyboard, tap an editable field on your tablet. Or, if in Desktop
mode, tap the

(keyboard) icon in the taskbar.

To close the keyboard, tap

To adjust keyboard sound settings, see
