Selecting the sound equalization

To change the sound equalization:
1

Press 

SOUND

 to select the sound equalization you want. Choose 

one of the following preset options: 

JAZZ, POP, CLASSIC, 

ROCK

, or 

FLAT 

(no equalization and no display).

Briefly press 

BASS/TREBLE

, then press 

SKIP/TUNING UP

 or 

SKIP/TUNING DOWN

 to set bass and treble levels. The Bass or 

Treble indicator is shown on the display.

Using an iPod

®

 with your boombox

To listen to the iPod

®

:

Make sure that your iPod

®

 is installed on your boombox.

Turn on your boombox.

Press 

PLAY/PAUSE

 to start playback.

Adjust the volume to a comfortable level by pressing either the 

VOLUME UP

 or 

VOLUME DOWN

 button.

Press 

SKIP/TUNE UP

 or 

SKIP/TUNE DOWN

 to skip to the 

beginning of the current, last, or next track.

To charge the iPod

®

 battery:

Turn on your iPod

®

Insert the iPod

®

. The battery charging indicator appears on the 

iPod

®

 display.

Notes

The default volume setting level is 6. If you adjust the 
volume setting then turn off your boombox, it will resume the 
default volume level of 6 when you turn it back on.
