Setting up your CD boombox
To unpack and set up your CD boombox:

Remove your CD boombox and all packing material from the
carton. The detachable AC power cord is in a separate carton.
Make sure the cord is not accidentally discarded.

Press
OPEN/CLOSE
in the CD area, then remove the white
packing card in the CD compartment.
Power sources
Your CD boombox is designed to operate on AC 120V~60Hz or by
using eight C batteries (not included). Attempting to operate your CD
boombox from any other power source may cause damage not
covered by your warranty.
To operate on AC power:

Unwind and fully extend the AC power cord.

Insert the small end of the AC power cord into the AC power
connector on the back of your CD boombox.

Insert the other end of the AC power cord into any convenient AC
120V~60Hz outlet.
To install batteries:

Remove the battery cover on the bottom of your CD boombox by
sliding the compartment door towards the back of your CD
boombox and lifting the door.

Insert eight C size batteries (not included) matching the + and -
inside the compartment.

Replace the compartment door.
Note: The power cord must be disconnected from the AC power
connector on the back of your CD boombox in order for your CD
boombox to operate on battery power.
