Lock all with the first handle pin (A). then
install the inferior leg of the davit arm be-
tween the eyelets of the mast and lock with
the second handle pin (B).
4.
Install the lifeline cable or rope or winch on mounting bracket
made to accept the hoisting device. Pass the lifeline cable or
rope through the pulley located at the top end of the davit arm.
Make sure that the cable or rope is securely in place.
5.
A second lifeline can be installed on the grey “D” anchor point.
6.
Pass the lifeline cable or cord or winch through the pulley at the
end of the davit arm. Make sure that the cable or cord has been
passed through securely and is well in place.
WARNING:
Never use a winch or lifeline for fall protection when positioned below the
davit arm.
WARNING:
Only adaptors and brackets that are approved, certified and recommended by
the manufacturer are to be used with the XTIRPA system.
