OPERATION
1. Place the toaster on a flat, dry and stable surface out of reach of heat sources.
2. Place the bread into the pliers and then put the pliers into the toaster.
3. Plug the toaster to the socket, making sure the voltage shown on the rating label
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
4. Set the browning level using the knob (D).
5. Press the Lever down (B). The lever will remain down until the bread is toasted.
6. If you want to stop the toasting process, press the STOP button (C), that will automatically
delete the previous settings. Remove the toast using the provided pliers.
7. If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug it, wait for it to cool down, then remove the bread.
NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE THE BREAD.
CLENANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until it has completely cooled down before
proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance operation.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the toaster or pliers.
• Do not use spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the toaster.
• Clean the outside of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth, and polished with a soft and dry
cloth.
• After each use, wash the pliers by hand, using a normal dishwashing detergent, being
careful to dry them well before storing them. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
• After cleaning, wait few minutes to let the outer walls to be completely dry before using
the toaster.
• All repair activities or other maintenance activities must be performed by an authorized
service center.
CRUMB TRAY
The toaster is equipped with a removable crumb tray so that you can remove the crumbs
easily. Always make sure the toaster is unplugged and cooled before removing the crumb
tray. Clean the crumb tray with a damp cloth and dry completely before placing it back into
the toaster.
