integrated SmartHome components thoroughly before initial
commissioning, and in particular follow the safety instructions!
All work on and with this device must only be carried out as
described in the operating manual. Keep this operating manual
to hand at all times and store it in a safe place in order to hand
it on to the new owner in the event of a sale.
Intended use
The Medion Smart Home central unit is used to control and
manage Medion SmartHome devices and is an essential part of
the set-up required to use your Smart Home system. The cen-
tral unit saves the settings and configurations of the individual
devices along with any scenarios that have been created and
establishes a connection with the data centre. You also have
the option of expanding your Smart Home System with the
innogy SmartHome plug-on module to incorporate and config-
ure innogy SmartHome devices.
