Function
The pluggable switch switches itself on
and off individually, as controlled by the
user, in response to the radio commands it
receives. The radio commands for the plug-
gable switch are issued by pressing but-
tons, by remote control, via the SmartH-
ome user interface or
programme-controlled via the SmartHome
central unit.
Hazard warning
• Pluggable switches must not be plugged
into each other.
• Do not open the pluggable switch. It
does not contain any parts to be ser-
viced by the user. If a fault occurs, please
contact our SmartHome service. Only
operate the device indoors. Avoid the
influence of humidity, dust, sunlight and
other heat radiation.
• Do not push the pluggable switch
beyond the specified performance limit.
• Overloading can destroy the device or
cause a fire or an electrical accident.
• Do not connect any end devices to the
pluggable switch which could cause fires
or other damage if they are switched on
while unsupervised (e.g. irons).
• Only use the pluggable switch in perma-
nently installed sockets with grounding
contacts. Do not use it in multiple socket
outlets or with extension leads.
• Always unplug the end device from the
pluggable switch before carrying out
any work on the end device (e.g. chang-
ing the bulb).
Commissioning
After it has been plugged into the easily
accessible socket, the pluggable switch
will try for three minutes to automatically
integrate itself (LED flashes briefly every
ten seconds). Integrate the device via the
user software in the SmartHome system.
When the device has been successfully
integrated, the LED lights up for approxi-
mately two seconds.
