Selecting the Operation Mode
Select MODE in the main menu to select your operation mode. Press POWER to select the Variable
Wattage mode. Press TC to select the Temperature Control mode. You will be invited to specify the
kind of coil (NI - nickel, TI - titanium, SS - stainless steel 316) you are using. Press TCR to operate
the device in TCR mode (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance). You will be invited to specify one of
three possible memory locations (M1,M2,M3). After you have specified the memory location you will
be invited to adjust the temperature coefficient of resistance. Please note the table below. Press the
fire button to confirm the selected coefficient. Press BYPASS to operate the device in Bypass mode.
Note: The RTC stands for Real Time Clock. When you select RTC, your device will automatically ope-
rate in VW mode. A huge watch will be displayed on the start screen. Press RTC to use this function.
You will be invited to select the mode of display. Select NUMBER for a digital display or POINT for a
analogue display of the watch.
