Locking the Resistance in TC/TCR Mode
To lock or unlock the resistance enter the main menu and go to the SET submenu. In the
top row you will see twice the COIL button, once with the symbol of an open lock, once a
lock. To lock the resistance select the closed lock left, to unlock choose the open one right
and confirm by pressing the function button. A yellow frame will appear, enclosing the
dialog box you selected. To leave the menu, press the fire button.
Note:
1. This function should only be used at room temperature, to ensure that the correct “base resistance” is locked.
2. If you accidentally use a conventional coil or coils with a resistance greater than 1.5 ohms in TC-Ni, TC-Ti, TC-SS
or TCR (M1, M2, M3) modes, the device will automatically switch to VW Mode.
