THE DEVICE NEEDS SUFFICIENT TIME TO WARM-UP FOR THE MOST
ACCURATE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS AND BEST IMAGE QUALITY.
THIS TIME CAN OFTEN VARY BY ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. IT IS BEST
TO WAIT A MINIMUM OF 10 MINUTES FOR THE DEVICE TO COMPLETELY
WARM-UP.

Power on the device by connecting the battery pack to the device. Power is
supplied to the device the moment it is plugged into the battery pack. The
system starts in approximately 10-15 seconds. Wait until the user interface loads
before taking measurements.
To power off the device disconnect the device from the battery pack. To
disconnect the battery cable, hold the battery cable by the lock ring and pull.
The lock ring will slide until it releases the connection.
After powering off the device, wait until the Power LED also powers off before
attempting to power the device on again. Disconnecting and reconnecting the
battery pack too quickly will cause the device to reboot.
The device has an internal backup battery which is charged by the battery pack
while in use. It is recommended the device stay powered by the battery pack at
least 45 minutes in order to fully charge the internal backup battery.
TO POWER OFF THE DEVICE DISCONNECT THE DEVICE FROM THE BATTERY
PACK.
TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLE, HOLD THE BATTERY CABLE BY
THE LOCK RING AND PULL. THE LOCK RING WILL SLIDE UNTIL IT RELEASES
THE CONNECTION.
THE DEVICE HAS AN INTERNAL BACKUP BATTERY WHICH IS CHARGED BY
THE BATTERY PACK WHILE IN USE. IT IS RECOMMENDED THE DEVICE STAY
POWERED BY THE BATTERY PACK AT LEAST 45 MINUTES IN ORDER TO FULLY
CHARGE THE INTERNAL BACKUP BATTERY.
POWER IS SUPPLIED TO THE DEVICE THE MOMENT IT IS PLUGGED INTO THE
BATTERY PACK.
THE SYSTEM STARTS IN APPROXIMATELY 10-15 SECONDS. WAIT UNTIL THE
USER INTERFACE LOADS BEFORE ATTEMPTING AN ACOUSTIC INSPECTION.
