The 

PFS 6 TFR HUB

 was designed to give the highest degree of protection against overloads, voltage 

peaks, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). It protects your 
computers and peripherals against damages caused by accidental overvoltages, voltage peaks, lightning, 
network parasites and overloads. A resettle circuit breaker provides protection against overloads and short 
circuits. This product also features a USB hub.

  Security 

 

Please read all these instructions before installing the 

PFS 6 TFR HUB

. It must be installed only inside a 

protected location in which temperature and humidity do not exceed the limits defined in the technical 
specifications section. 
 

  Installation 

 

Plug the 

PFS 6 TFR HUB

 into a two-pole connector with earth (2P+E-10A). Plug your equipment to be 

protected into the 6 protected outlets of the

 PFS 6 TFR HUB

.

 

Put the switch into the “I” or “ON” position and check that the “Protected” and “Power OK” lights are on.  
If it does not light on, check the electrical power supply. If the orange “Protected” light is off, do not use the 

PFS 6 TFR

 

HUB

 

1. On/Off switch 

The mains two-pole switch of the 

PFS 6 TFR HUB

 is used to switch the 6 outlets on and off. 

 

2. Overload protection 

When the consumption of connected equipment exceeds the authorized value, the circuit breaker opens to 
protect the 

PFS 6 TFR HUB

. To put it back into service, reduce the connected power and reset the circuit 

breaker. 

 

3. “Power OK” 

Green led “Power OK” turns on: power is effective. 
Green led “Power OK” is off: power is not effective. 
 

 

4.  Active surge protection led 

Orange led “Protected” turns on: the protection is effective. 
Orange led “Protected” is off: the protection is not effective. 

 

5. Protected outlets 

Outlets are used to connect equipment such as a PC, printer, monitor, scanner, modem, external CD Rom 
drive, home DVD player... The space-wide outlet is used to easily connect one transformer block. They are 
controlled by the mains switch. 

 

6.  Tel. / Fax / Modem / xDSL protection 

The 

PFS 6 TFR

 

HUB

 is equipped with protection against overvoltages on the telephone/fax/modem line 

thanks to its 2 RJ11 connectors (6P4C). Connect the line input to the “IN” connector and use the cable 
supplied to connect the “OUT” connector to the telephone/fax/modem. 

 

7.  USB Hub  

The 

PFS 6 TFR

 

HUB

 features a 4-ports bus powered USB hub. Thanks to the provided USB cable, 

connect the USB “in” connector to one free USB port of your computer, then use the 4 USB “out” ports to 
easily connect your digital camera, scanner, printer or MP3 player etc… : they will be automatically 
detected on your computer.  

 

 

In case of problem, do not disassemble the 

PFS 6 TFR HUB, 

there are no reparable parts inside it.
