System maintenance

4.1 

Replaceable components

Your EonStor GSe system is comprised of replaceable components:
• 

Memory module

• 

Host board

• 

Hard disk drives

WARNING!

•  DO NOT remove a defective component from the system until you have the replacement on hand. 

Doing so may disrupt the internal airflow.

• 

Consult with the qualified engineers who are familiar with the system to recommend you of the 

component replacements.

• 

DO NOT use excessive force when installing a replaceable components. Forced installation of the 

component can damage the connector pins of the system or the component.

This chapter provides maintenance and replacement procedures of replaceable 

components of your EonStor GSe Pro 200 Series systems.
