Bit Px_DATA.n can only be written if the corresponding pin is set to output, i.e. Px_DIR.n = 1. The contents of
Px_DATA.n are output on the assigned pin if the pin is assigned as GPIO pin and the direction is switched/set
to output. A read operation of Px_DATA returns the register value and not the state of the Px_DATA pins.

Direction Register
The direction of bidirectional port pins is controlled by the respective direction register Px_DIR. For input-only
port pins, register Px_DIR is used to enable or disable the input drivers.
