6.9 Connecting the Power Supply
6.9.1 2-Module Micro GC Fusion
The 2-module Micro GC Fusion system uses a power supply that accepts 100-240 V
(ac) input and provides 24 V (dc) to the instrument.

Power Cord
1 Connect the 24V (dc) power connector from the power supply to one end of the
24 V (dc) cable assembly (PN 600-1546-P1). Connect the other end of the 24 V
(dc) cable assembly to the 24V power input on the Micro GC Fusion back panel.
A "click" will be audible when the power connector is properly connected.
2 Micro GC Fusion ships with a country specific power cord. Connect the end of
this power cord to the 24 V (dc) power supply (PN 952-435-P1).
3 Connect the other end of the power cord to the 100-240 V (ac) power source.
With the power supply properly connected, Micro GC Fusion can be powered on by
pressing the On/Standby button on the front panel.
CAUTION
Using an alternative power supply voids the warranty.
6.9.2 4-Module Micro GC Fusion
The 4-module Micro GC Fusion system uses a power supply that accepts 100-240 V
(ac) input. A 24 V power supply is built into the chassis, and is not required externally.
To power on a 4-module Micro GC Fusion system, press the power button above to
the AC power inlet on the back panel to "I," and then press the On/Standby button on
the front panel.
