Before starting the working day, make sure the battery is suffi ciently charged (3 LEDs on
on the pruning shears).
Always disconnect the shears from the pole during operations other than pruning and
ALWAYS WHEN SHARPENING OR LUBRICATING.
Users must be especially careful when the shears are located at the end of the pole in order
to prevent any risks of accidents.
Before any use of the pole, it is essential to read your shears user manual carefully and to
follow all the safety instructions.
IMPORTANT! The pole is made of carbon, a conductive material. Do not
use near sources of electricity or electric wires.
If the shears jam following a
succession of jamming
cuts, wait for the blade to
open. Do not make
any lateral movements that
could damage both
the pole and the shears.
Do not leave the pole, the
battery or the shears
on the ground, and do not expose them to bad weather conditions.
Make sure the battery’s protective plastic casing is not cracked and does not seem to have
suffered impacts or other aggressions.
When working, it is normal for the battery temperature to rise.
The recommended use temperature is between -5°C and 35°C
Use outside this temperature range may reduce tool performances.
After using the tool in the rain or in a damp environment, it is strongly recommended to
store the
disconnected
device outside its case in a heated and ventilated place.
Between two pruning seasons, you do not need to disconnect the battery from the pole
control grip if it is stored away from freezing temperatures and damp.
