3. Introduction to i-Stamp microcontroller
i-Stamp
is the emulator of BS2SX-IC module
which designed by Innovative Experiment
Co.,Ltd., Thailand under co-operative with Parallax Inc., manufacturer BASIC Stampfrom
USA.
The size is similat to BS2SX-IC and can put on 24 pins socket. i-Stamp use BASIC Stamp
interpreter licienced by Parallax Inc.. So make sure that i-Stamp ability is compattible.
Figure 2, shows i-Stamp schematic. It’s similar to BS2SX-IC. The only one different is i-
Stamp no Vin pin because inside i-Stamp has not +5V regulator circuit.
