RECEIVER/DECODER OPERATION
An ORS-X1T remote control decoder with a built-in radio receiver can be used to control a single device. The decoder outputs
include
two
pairs
of
terminals
connected
to
relay
contacts.
The
decoder
is
compatible
with
PIL-02XB, PIL-04XB, PIL-DL, PIL-PM, PIL-PT, PIL-NS and PIL-MMT remote controls. For DL, PM, PT, NS and MMT remote
controls, press UP or DOWN button to activate the decoder. The relay contacts will open approx. 1 second after the remote control
button is released. The decoder will not be activated by simultaneously pressing both remote control buttons.
RECEIVER/DECODER POWER SUPPLY
The decoder may be supplied with 12 V/24 V DC or 24 V AC. Fig. 2 shows the wiring diagram for all three cases.
REGISTERING REMOTE CONTROLS
Up to 15 different remote controls can be registered to a single decoder. Press SW1 to register a new remote control; green D1 LED
will turn on for 10 seconds; press the selected channel button on the remote control within 10 seconds. Red D1 LED will blink if the
registration is successful.
RESETTING REMOTE CONTROL CODES
All registered remote controls can be deleted from the memory. Press and hold SW1 for 10 seconds; D1 LED will change from green
to red. Release the button. All remote control codes will be deleted and the same or different remote controls can be registered.
NOTES ON RECEIVER/DECODER INSTALLATION
The decoder includes a high sensitivity built-in radio receiver. Each product is individually tested and has a range in the open area of
up to 200 m. After installing the decoder, check its range and correct operation before connecting other devices. Do not press any
remote control buttons more often than once every second. Pressing the buttons too often will not cause the control unit to switch to
the next stage, i.e. it will not execute the next command. In case of any issues with the range or correct operation, check the power
supply voltage. A minimum voltage to guarantee correct operation and range is 24 V AC/DC or 12 V DC. If the range is limited with
a correct supply voltage, change the location of the radio receiver.
Limited range may be due to
:
1.
Receiver positioned too low (the optimum height is 2-3 metres above the transmitter level).
2.
Receiver too close to a large metal object.
3.
Receiver enclosed by metal sheets, metal structures etc.
The range can be improved by changing the receiver location. Connect the controlled devices, if good range can be ensured. Please
allow for a delay of approx. 0.5 second between the remote control button is pressed and the relay is activated.
It is not permitted to dispose of waste equipment together with other waste. Dispose only in specially designated
areas. The household plays a key role in the recycling of waste equipment. By correct sorting of waste, including
waste equipment and batteries, household members ensure that the equipment is not disposed together with
household waste, but in specially designated areas, and thus may be used again after recycling.
